Fifty years after receiving her bachelor’s degree in accounting, Jessica Zeller Harris returned to campus with husband Robert Harris ’74 to see their daughter, Bethany Harris Crawford, receive her Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
Bruce Plaxen of Baltimore made history as the first Maryland bar lawyer to serve as president of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Plaxen founded his firm 40 years ago. He was named a Distinguished Alumnus of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy in recognition of his pro bono efforts assisting the families of victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks – the largest pro bono project in history.
Nancy (Grasso) Barry retired from the NYS Court System and currently serves as first deputy district attorney and chief of staff to Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace. Nancy received the Alumni Association’s Milk Excellence in Public Service Award in 2023.
