University Art Museum Explores American Security Workers’ Lives and Perspectives

A new exhibition, “Job Security: Voices and Views from the American Security Industry,” showcases more than 50 works of photographic and narrative art by UAlbany professors Danny Goodwin and Edward Schwarzchild. After nearly eight years documenting the lives of homeland security, border patrol, Secret Service and emergency management workers, they present a multifaceted portrait of this rarely seen industry. The exhibit, spanning both floors of the University Art Museum, is on display through Dec. 9.
