Richard Morgan ’69 recently published his eleventh poetry collection, Poemshine. Morgan has given his multimedia presentation, “Words and Watercolors,” at numerous libraries and community events and has offered classes on how to write personal poetry.

Dimitris Leventis, MS ’72, is the author of Stories of Famagusta. Leventis taught at the First Gymnasium of Famagusta until the Turkish invasion in 1974.

William Kuchta, MSEd ’76, published his first book, Advice from the Empty Nest. It is available on Amazon.com and at Barnes & Noble.

Business coach and author Kathryn Mayer, MS ’84, published The Productive Perfectionist: A Woman’s Guide to Smashing the Shackles of Perfection.

John Friedman ’85 is the author of Managing Sustainability: First Steps to First Class. Published by Business Expert Press, the book is used in business schools and classes around the world, including North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Michael Frachioni ’87 is the author of Bus Poems, a collection of work inspired by his daily commute to Pittsburgh. Frachioni has written and lectured on business and law, local history, cartography and ancient Greek architecture.

Erik Schlimmer, MSW ’18, is the author of two recently published works, Wicked Awesome Adirondack Chronology and Cranberry Lake Fifty Place Names.

Sarah Shey, MS ’18, published Buddhist Festivals and Traditions, a nonfiction book for Grades K-3.

Taylor Casey, MA ’23, published her first article in the journal Collection and Curation, Beyond 741.5: creating an identity for graphic novels in an academic library’s curriculum materials center. Casey is the assistant librarian for Access and Outreach Services at Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, NY.
